CASSIDY, William Henry of East Williston and Mineola, on September 29, 2021.   Beloved husband of Diane.  Loving father of Lorraine Michalek (Christopher), Eileen Porter (Jonathan), William his wife Susan Cassidy both Licensed Funeral Directors and Michael Cassidy.  Caring grandfather of Emma, William Rocco, Theodore, Poppy and Timothy. Dear brother of Margaret Litchhult (Robert), Patricia Victor (Alex), Joseph (Antoinette), James and Elizabeth.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Devoted 4th Generation New York State Licensed Funeral Director for 50 years.   Owner and Operator of Cassidy Funeral Home in Mineola. Graduate of Niagra University Class of 1970.  Proud Service in the US Navy aboard the USS John F. Kennedy during the Vietnam Era.  Knights of Columbus Past Grand Knight 3rd Degree, Member of Knights of Columbus Corpus Christi Council #2502 and Catholic War Veterans of America. Visiting Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 2-5 & 7-9pm, Cassidy Funeral Home, 156 Willis Avenue, Mineola.  Funeral Mass Monday 9:30am Corpus Christi Church.  Interment Calverton National Cemetery.  Memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital appreciated.
