Robert W. Hinck Sr. of Mineola, born on March 26, 1937. Son of Frederick and Helen Hinck(nee Cook) Loving husband of Patricia Hinck(nee Monuski), father of Jacqueline, Robert Jr, Kevin and Thomas. Grandfather of Alexandra, Taylor, Robert III, Christian, Winter, Jalen, Gabriel, Julian, Sean, Kevin and Liam. Robert was the former Mayor/Trustee of Mineola and co-founder of the Mineola Hometown Party. He was a life long member of Corpus Christi Church, Eucharistic Minister, School Board member and Chairperson of the Corpus Christi carnival. He received an MA/BA from St. John’s University, the Pietas Medal and served on the Presidential Board. Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran and lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus 2502.
He was a coach for the Mineola PAL and MAA. Robert was deeply involved in the Mineola Community for his entire life, a town he loved.
