Rey was preceded in death by his brothers Rene, Noel, Eric, Araceli, Benjamin, Raul, and Elvin, by his sister Ofelia, and by his nephews Rex and Mitz. He is survived by his sisters Maria M. (Roel) Iway of NY and Emma Seno-Venema of CA, and his brothers Ferdinand (Dadie) Seno and Norman (Monica) Seno of the Philippines. Rey is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Camille Iway, Stephanie (Scott) Blakeman, Vanessa (Larry) Lin, Guenevere (Eric) Winter, Gianella Domdom, RJ (Ingrid) Orat, Rae Bargamento, Rys J'remi Orat, and Mikko and Marcko Seno.
