Obituary for Teresa Allegretti Martone
Teresa Allegretti Martone, 93, of East Williston, NY and Hobe Sound, FL, passed away peacefully on July 28th surrounded by her beloved family members, Richard & Andrea Martone, Paul Martone and Mark Silverman. She leaves behind two loving sons, Paul, and Richard and his wife Andrea and their three children Michael, Katina Nardi and Mia. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Eugene Mario, the love of her life, and her son Eugene Jr. Teresa was a devout Catholic, devoted wife and mother. She was most proud of her Italian heritage and family was everything to her. Teresa volunteered with the Mercy League and enjoyed playing golf year-round, well into her early 90s. Her warmth and joyous laughter always made her the life of any party. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and sharing her favorite Italian specialties with those she loved, especially her favorite desserts. Whenever she was asked what she wanted, her response was always the same: “I wish for peace.” We know that Teresa is now at peace in the arms of her Lord, and with her loved ones in heaven. Visiting hours at Cassidy Funeral Home are Thursday August 5th from 4pm to 7pm. Services will be held at St. Aidan Parish, 505 Willis Avenue, Williston Park at 10:00am on Friday August 6th.
