With profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Dora Juarez (Negrita as she was often called), who passed away on April 14, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Hugo
Robles Sr.; devoted mother of Pedro Ramos, Martin Ramos, Manuel Ramos, Abraham Ramos
and Hugo Robles Jr. ; loving daughter of Edilberta Juarez; dear sister of Rosa Juarez, Manuel
{Josefina} Juarez, Maria {Jorge} Pacherres, Juan {Gabriella} Juarez, and Maria {Juan} Lebron.
Adored Nana to her grandchildren Camila, Ashley, Angel, Sebastian, Isabella, Sergio, Stephano,
Jacob, and Santiago. Dora will join her father Juan Juarez and her sister Gloria Pietrogiacomo, in
heaven. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as extended family
members.
Dora was born on February 15, 1954 in Lima, Peru. Pursuing a better life for her and her
children, she immigrated to the USA in 1986 making Long Island, NY her permanent home.
Here, she found a new life, a life she wanted for her, her children and all her family. She always
said, her boys were like each finger on her hand, different shapes, meant different personalities
but all essential to her. Today, we remember her as a one of the pillars of the Juarez Family. She
was a true force of nature, her personality was larger than life. She was a strong-willed person,
a fighter and advocate. Anyone who knew her would be immediately captured by her passion;
she was selfless. Always making family gatherings a memorable moment, she made sure we
celebrated everyone and anything we accomplished. She will forever be remembered that way.
