Mary A. Tague

Mary A. Tague passed away suddenly on November 29th, 2021. Mary was born on April 18th, 1937 to Daniel and Mary Murphy. She grew up in Astoria with her parents and older sister Patricia. She met James Tague from Brooklyn and married him in 1960. In 1963, they moved to Mineola where they raised 3 loving children; Jim, Karen, and Paul. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, and friend. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends, enjoying stories and laughing. She also adored her grandchildren, Grace, Nicole, Sarah, Hannah, Rachel, and Stephen. One of her other favorite things to do was walk, whether it was to Church, the stores, or just around the block. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
