Listen to Obituary

I can’t believe I’m writing this.

My best friend in the world, the love of my life, my soulmate of almost 37 years, Marietta Busa, passed away from cancer yesterday at 3:40pm.

She was the kindest, most loving, generous, strongest, beautiful + caring and most talented person I’ve ever known. She could do anything, helped everyone and was absolutely fearless. She was a PA, performed surgery and saved lives, had 2 degrees, was a Reiki master and was incredibly athletic. She worked out all the time.

She did everything and did it well, skiing, softball, won pickleball tournaments, fencing. She was a phenomenal dancer, she performed dance shows on stage of ballet, tap dancing, jazz, hip hop, she took trapeze classes, archery, horseback riding, even boxing.

She was a daredevil.

She drove a race car, flew a plane and she could throw a baseball better than a lot of guys I know. We played catch in the park all the time.

We did everything together. We went skydiving, we bungi jumped off a 150 foot bridge into a river in New Zealand. We traveled the world together. We went to over 20 countries together, slept in a treehouse in the jungle in Belize, rode a hot air balloon in the Sahara desert, went inside the Great Pyramid of Egypt, went all over Australia, Greece, Italy, Paris, Spain, Hawaii, Costa Rica, The Bahamas, Croatia, all of South America, stayed on a yacht in the Galápagos Islands, climbed Machu Picchu, all of Central America, tons of trips to Vegas, The Grand Canyon and much more.

She loved to cook. Especially desserts, cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, pies, etc.,

We went biking, hiking,

She loved all of nature, the trees, grass, flowers, plants, waterfalls, she loved every animal, especially dogs.

And she loved and cared about me more than anyone. When my parents and brother passed away, no one did more for me than her. When I was in the hospital with a reflux problem, she adjusted my diet + cured me. She was my biggest acting supporter, the 1st person to donate to my show and had a part in Jimmy’s and Jenny’s.

She was my joy, my happiness, all the good in my life.

You gave me nothing but love and strength and happiness.

I’ve lost so much the last 3 years, but now I’ve lost everything.

You were my whole world.

I’m lost.

I don’t know what to do without you.

My heart is forever broken.

I said I love you every day for almost 37 years and will continue to say it everyday until day until I die.

I love you, forever, my sweet Angel,

My most beautiful Marietta.

‘Our love is forever and eternal.

‘Til we meet again in Heaven
