Manuel Felix Villar Barrios Novoa

Manuel Felix Villar Barrios Novoa was born on June 25th, 1960 and died peacefully on August 15th at 6:31 pm at the age of 62 after battling failing health conditions. Felix was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees, and it was his wish that everyone attend his service wearing a Yankees jersey or their colors. Felix also loved soccer. Not many of you may know this, but Felix was a great soccer player and was recruited by the NY soccer team the Cosmos in the seventies. He will be remembered more for his kind, gentle loving nature. Felix was fiercely loyal and protective of his family and friends. His love for us was constant and enduring and will remain so. His love will forever be our emblem and shield. We gather together to celebrate his life. He specifically said that he did not want any sadness at his service. He is at peace now. He was an active member in the Church, and his faith eased him into his transition. He is reveling in the joy and love of our Creator. He is perfect, and he is forever.
