Kathleen Dyroff

Kathleen Dyroff, 96, of Mineola, New York, passed away peacefully at home May 30, 2024. Born April 2, 1928 to Helen (Doyle) and Charles G, Schwarz. Beloved wife of the late Henry. Dear sister of Charles “Bud” (deceased), Ann “Nancy”, and Robert (Patricia). Loving mother of Mary (Tom) Solano, Steven (Celeste), Thomas (Debbie) (both deceased), Kathleen A. Donlon, and Maureen Perotta. Grandmother of 14, “Greatma” of 12.

Kathleen was an active parishioner of Corpus Christi Church for over 65 years, a longtime member of the Irish American Society as well as the Irish Cultural Society, past member of the Rosary Altar Society, volunteer at Corpus Christi School library. Director and Coordinator of the annual Talent Show for many years.

Kathleen enthusiastically participated in the community theater productions held at the school as well. Later on, she fulfilled her dream of acting professionally, appearing as an extra in movies and TV productions filmed on Long Island and in New York City.

Kathleen will be greatly missed and warmly remembered.
