Karyn M. Pasqualina

Karyn M. Pasqualina born August 16, 1971, died peacefully in the presence of her family on the morning of April 16, 2023, after a fierce 8 year battle with breast cancer. Karyn is the beloved daughter of Eleanor and John P. Colbert. Cherished sister to Michael (Janice) Pasqualina, Kevin (Cara) Pasqualina and Michele (Joel) (Colbert) Krantz. Karyn will be profoundly missed by her Nephew Alexander, Nieces Sofia, Natalie, Kayla and Samantha. She treated her nephew and nieces as if they were her own children. Her significant other of 15 years, Frederick “Rick” Cody and his children, Jake and Bailee will surely miss her. A graduate of Mineola High School, graduating with honors, an All County Gymnast and a member of the volleyball team and Cheerleading squad. She Graduated from SUNY Cortland, with a Bachelors of Science in Health. Karyn was also on the Cortland Volleyball Team. She pursued her passion for health and fitness as a licensed personal trainer. Her next line of work was as a Pharmaceutical sales representative for various companies and lastly as a representative for Meijer Specialty Pharmacies. A friend to everyone, you could always count on her friendship as well as being respected by her clients for her strong work ethic and professionalism. She won many honors for her sales ability for the companies she represented. Karyn will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and wonderful sense of humor, especially her contagious laugh. Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends and colleagues. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2-5pm & 7-9pm at Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola, NY. Funeral Mass Thursday 10 at Our Lady of Hope Church. Private Cremation to follow.
