Josephine Stellato

STELLATO - Josephine, at the age of 99 on November 12, 2022. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank. Devoted mother of Carole Coyne (John), Fran Mazer (Steven) and Frank Stellato III. Cherished grandmother of John Heney (Jackie), Rachel Ratner, Joseph Heney (Eileen) and Michael Ratner (Carly). Great grandmother to John Jeffrey & Dominic John Heney. She worked as an AT&T overseas operator during WW II reuniting soldiers with their families. An avid gardener, she was especially proud of the roses cultivated in her backyard. In addition, she was an outstanding cook and will be remembered for her meatballs. A long-time resident of Mineola, for the past 93 years. She was married at Corpus Christi church, where she baptized all three of her children. She will be lovingly remembered by those lives she touched.
