Joseph Anthony Abbatiello Sr.

Joseph Anthony Abbatiello Sr. 86 of Locust, NC, formerly of Mineola,NY, passed away on Friday May 31st 2024. He will rest at Cassidy Funeral Home in Mineola on Thursday, June 6 between 5 and 8 p.m. and burial will be at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY. on Friday June 7 at 11:00 am. Joseph was born to Frank C. Abbatiello and Mary Romuno Abbatiello on April 30, 1938. He served 8 years in the NY National Guard and worked for Grumman Corporation for 37 years ending his career there as Plant Production Manager. Joe was the loving husband of Carole Abbatiello (nee Rea) for 64 years and proud and loving father of Joseph Jr., Donna Warner and John, and grandfather of Rachel, Jason and Jordan Abbatiello. In lieu of flowers donations to St Judes Children's Hospital would be Appreciated.
