Jose Pinto DaCosta

DaCosta, Jose Pinto Died July 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Born on March 24, 1932 in Cativelos, Portugal to Maria Emila and Jose Pinto Santos. He came to America in 1960 where he settled in Mineola, New York with his wife Maria (known affectionately as Luz) where they raised their family. Jose had a passion for gardening, fishing, hunting, carpentry and construction. After the passing of his wife in 2002 he found love once again and relocated to Jupiter Florida where he had resided for 18 years living with his "wife"{ Maria daLuz ) until her death on 2/27/25.. During this time Jose enjoyed life, he could be found on Sundays at the portuguese club of west palm beach where they were known a s the KING & QUEEN OF THE DANCE FLOOR or working in his garden, \or just enjoying life with his many friends

Jose is survived by his daughter, Maria (Nina) Brooks (Mike) Stepdaughters Elizabeth (David), Maryanna (John) Grandchildren Michael, Deanna(nikki) Great Granddaughter Jo-Leigh 6 step grandchildren, 1 stp great granddaughter
