Jose Alves Andre

With profound sadness and sorrow in our hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Jose Alves Andre, who passed away on May 21st, 2020. Jose was born on August 1st, 1935 in Penalonga, Portugal. Jose is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Benta Goncalves Lage Andre. Also by his two sisters Profetina Alves and Laurinda Roxo. He was a loving father to his daughter Lucia Pereira and son-in-law Valdemar Pereira, his son Eduardo Andre and daughter-in-law Joanne Andre. Loving grandfather to his grandchildren Diane Pereira Rambold (John Rambold), Michael Pereira (Heather Pereira), Jessica Pereira (Matthew Mello), Danny Andre (Stephanie Andre), and Ashley Andre (Joseph Ortiz). Great grandfather to his great grandchildren Tyler, Leah and Logan Rambold, Leo Andre and Liam Pereira.  Services will be held at Cassidy Funeral Home of Mineola on Wednesday May 27th, 2020 from 4pm- 8pm. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. NYS RULES All visitors must wear masks. Keep a social distance. Only 10 people of the immidieate family are allowed in the building. If you are a friend or neighbor you are not allowed to visit. Immidieate family only, 10 people by NYS Mandate. No mass cards are available.
