Hipolito Jorge

Jorge, a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family he cherished above all else. Born in Portugal, he carried his heritage proudly throughout his life, sharing its traditions, values, and stories with anyone around to listen.

He worked tirelessly to support his family and his commitment was not only shown in the long hours he gave, but in the love, guidance, and encouragement he offered every day. Family was the heart of his world, and his happiest moments were those spent around a table with loved ones, laughing, talking, and being together.

Jorge shared a love of hunting with his friends, who would go with him every year. He would hunt deer, not to kill, but to appreciate the beauty of nature. He loved to tend to his garden filled with tomatoes and figs, not to just eat, but to practice patience in nurture and growth. And as a devoted fan of Sporting Lisbon, he would watch soccer, not just because Sporting is the best team in Portugal, but to share in moments of passion, and in moments of defeat.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his constant devotion, his gentle humor, and the immense love he freely shared. Jorge leaves behind a legacy of hard work, compassion, and family bonds that will continue to shape the lives of those he leaves behind.
