Son of the late John and Mary Norton McKenna and brother of the late Eugene. Beloved Husband of 62 years to Joan. Devoted Father of Joanne (James), John (Erica), Dorothy (Thomas), Joseph, Gerard, and Patrick. Loving Grandfather of Jessica, Diane, Thomas, Victoria, and Brianna. Cherished Great-Grandfather of Olivia, Stella, Gabriella and Lily. Graduate of Bishop Loughlin High School, St. Matthias School, Pace University (B.A.), St. John's University (MBA) and New York University (NYU) (Ph.D). John honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1955-1957 in Germany. CPA and CFO for several companies, faculty at Manhattan College and Pace University of Accounting and Management. Well respected P.BC girls softball coach, little league baseball coach for the Mineola Community as well as being a lifelong Mets Fan.
