John P. Kopp

On Thursday November 26th 2020 John Peter Kopp passed away due to complications with a 22year battle with Mulitple Sclerosis.  He was born in Brooklyn in 1958 and survived his parents, John and Gertrude Kopp.  John graduated with BS in communications from St. John's university in 1980 and had a career in Television Engineering that he enjoyed very much.  He married AnnMarie in 1983 and is survived by his daughter Catherine, sister Susan, and 11 nieces and nephews.  John was always learning something new, he was scuba certified, lovede to ski, camp, and hike.  In recent years he would draw, paint and make a photo collages and was very intrested in science and technology. Annmarie met John in 1978 and until a few weeks ago they shared every thought.  She knows his daughter was the light of his life and gave him the greatest joy just to spend time with her, made him so very happy.  He is greatly missed. Thank you to all the many people who have helped our family in small and large ways to bring enjoyment to him and our family in his toughtest times.
