John Hager

November 26, 1943 — May 22, 2024

John Joseph Hager, son of John J. and Bertha Louise (May) Hager, passed away on May 22, 2024. John graduated from Saint Pascal High School (Hollis, NY) in 1961 and went on to Queensborough Community College (Bayside, NY) where he earned an Associate's Degree in 1963. He served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1967. John served in 1965 on Windham County & 1966 through 1967 on Tom Green County. After completing his service duty, he started working for Bulova, which became Portescap in 1977, where he held various positions in the electronic repair field. In 1986, he became owner of Vibragraf which conducted electronics sales to the watch industry. John married Linda Marie Matejov on May 5, 1973. John, a proud homeowner, avid sports fan, parishioner of Corpus Christi Church lived many years on Juniper Avenue in Mineola. John is survived by his wife, Linda, son, David and his wife, Beth Hager and his daughter, Jennifer and her husband Jason Rind. John is grandfather to four grandchildren, Alex, Mary, Aria & Dylan. John is also survived by brother Robert, sister Ann, sister Janet Bartnick and husband Alfred. John is uncle to many nieces and nephews.
