Joanne Panetta (nee Hooper) beloved wife of Steven Panetta, daughter of the late Harry and Doris Hooper. Loving mother of Kristel (Fernando) Santos and Danny Panetta. Adored Nana of Dylan, Harrison and Emma Santos. Dear sister of Patricia Schumacher (Peter), Evelyn Garofalo (Thomas) and Lorna Downey (Steven). Loved by many friends, nieces & nephews, a great-niece & 2 great-nephews, and sister-in-law Kathy Glade. Survived by cousins Steven, Maureen, Tom and Nancy. Joanne's husband and family wish to thank the Palliative Care team and nursing staff at NYU Langone LI for her care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
