Edward M. Vezo

Edward M. Vezo of Mineola, New York, left us peacefully on December 10, 2024 at the age of 70. Beloved son of the late Helen and Edward Vezo, and predeceased brother Paul Vezo. Devoted and loving husband of Amy Vezo. Cherished father of Deena Cavalli, husband Marcus, and Daniel Vezo, wife Nicole. Dearest “Poppi” of Elliana, Giovanni, Tomas & Letty.

Edward was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Hollis, Queens. There he met the love of his life, Amy, and moved to Long Island.

Throughout his life, “Eddie” exemplified strength, resilience and immense love for his family, and friends who became family. The hardest working man we had ever known; whether it was at his job, his tent company that he owned and operated for 25 years, or taking care of and great pride in his homes in Mineola and Bradenton, FL. He was a man who was never seen sitting down, always busy, always taking care of his family. When something broke there was no need to worry because “Poppi fix it.” He was happiest spending time with his loved ones radiating his playful spirit, and watching the Steelers win.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in Edward’s honor.
