Donna Marie Vani, 60 of Levittown, NY, died on May 6, 2020 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan, NY. Donna was born in Jamaica, NY, her teen years were spent in Williston Park, NY. On September 10,1983 she married her husband Joseph at St. Aidan’s Church and they went on to have four children. Donna worked for years as an administrative assistant at McGraw Hill in Manhattan after graduating from Mineola High School. She later worked for Deblinger Associates in Manhasset, along with her husband Joseph and her sister Lisa, until the birth of her first daughter, Danielle. Although Donna continued working various jobs throughout her life, being a mother was her primary career and came so naturally to her because she was the kindest, most loving and nurturing person. She faced struggles and challenges that would break many people. But she never let it break her. She fought back so hard with a strength that most of us can only wish to have. Even on her worst days, she remained the strongest, kindest, and most selfless person most people have ever known. No matter what she was facing, it never interfered with her dedication and love for her family. She was incredibly involved and supportive in the lives of all of her children and her grandchildren & took such joy in having them around her. Donna was predeceased by her parents Enrico and Santa DeLuca. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph, her children Danielle, Caitlin, Thomas and Dean, grandchildren Kayleigh and Ben, son-in-law Travis, and sisters Joanne and Lisa, as well as brothers-in-law Joseph and David, sister-in-law, Monica, nieces Samantha and Nicolette and nephew Vincent. There is now a void in the lives of her family and friends and all those who had the good fortune of knowing her. She will be truly missed and live on forever in the hearts of all her loved ones.
