Donald Thomas Ressegue

Donald Thomas Ressegue, of Carle Place, New York, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026. He was 68 years old.

Donald was born on April 12, 1957, in Mineola, New York, to Kathleen and William Ressegue. He was the youngest brother to William Ressegue, Terri Kelly (married to Bob Kelly), Maureen Rogers, Regina Ressegue, and Eileen Ressegue. He shared a special bond with his many nieces and his nephew, whom he loved dearly.

Donald dedicated more than 35 years of his career to Winthrop University Hospital, now known as NYU Langone Health, where he worked as an Electrical Engineer. He was respected for his knowledge, steady presence, and commitment to his work.

He is survived by his daughters, Lindsay (Gonzales) and her husband Robert, and Megan (Rey). He was a proud grandfather to Sophia and Elena Gonzales, and Theo and Miles Rey.

Donald was known for his big heart, generous soul, and unmistakable sense of humor. You could often find him at his favorite local bar, sharing stories of the many people he met throughout his life and recounting memories that made everyone around him laugh. His warmth, kindness, and storytelling spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
