Danny D. Panetta

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that our family announces the sudden

unexpected passing of our beloved son, brother, sister, niece, and nephews.

Danny, 53, of Mineola, New York, passed away on February 13 th , 2025.

Danny, a resident of Mineola for 30 years and previously a resident of Port Washington,

New York, graduated from Schreiber High School.

Danny was the beloved son of Steven Panetta, Joanne Panetta (nee Hooper) who

preceded him in death. Beloved Brother of Kristel Mowery-Santos (Fernando), uncle to

Dylan, Harrison, and Emma.

Those who knew Danny were aware of his love for nature, horticulture, Native American

and Medieval History. He liked to share his extensive knowledge of all these subjects by

sharing them and placing them into actual practice: one would always learn something

new every time he had an interaction with others.

Danny’s emotional and spiritual beliefs were influenced by his part native American

ancestry. His horticultural plants can be seen at his parents’ yard.

His passing will dearly be missed in so many more ways than he was not aware. From

aunts, uncles, and friends his terrestrial existence expands from Florida to Alaska, to

Idaho and a lot of other states in between as well as New Hampshire where he lived for

a short while.

We all loved you Danny and hope peace has found you.
