Christopher J. Keesee, born August 10th, 1970, died peacefully in the presence of his wife, mother, and siblings on April 28th, 2023 at 52 years old after a long battle against cancer. Chris has been the beloved husband of Graceann for almost 20 years. Graceann is his everything, Chris's love for her was evident to anyone who sat with him long enough. Chris is a cherished father to four boys; Mathew, James, Joseph, and Michael. He loved his dog Oliver, simply because of how much Oliver loves Graceann. Chris is well known for the mountainous pedestal he puts his children on when talking about them. Wherever his children were competing or performing, Chris could be found “in the bushes” as he would famously say. He is the beloved son of Mary and James Keesee as well as the cherished brother to Cathy and Matt and a treasured in-law to Jill, Peter, Monica and Frank. Chris will be profoundly missed by his nephews Ryan, Kyle, and Calvin, and nieces Angela, Nicole, Elisa, and Kate whom he all adored greatly. Chris had the remarkable ability to turn anyone who walked through his door into family, making sure everyone felt valued, loved, and welcomed. Chris was able to make just about anyone smile with his silly sense of humor, and if he flipped you the bird, you knew you were loved. Chris loved his country and honorably served in the U.S Navy. Chris is also a proud retired member of the Ironworkers Local 361. He was not only proud of the work he did and the ability to provide for his family, he was extremely proud to be part of the brotherhood the Ironworkers formed. The friendships he made lasted him a lifetime, and were evident over this past year through phonecalls, messages, gestures, and visits.
Chris will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
