Dear Brother of Frank and Joseph. Caring Stepfather to Richard Schmaeling (Nicole). Loving Grandfather to Caleb, Nathan, and Elianna Schmaeling. And survived by many Nieces and Nephews. Proud Mineola resident for 60 years. Army Veteran, Commander Mineola American Legion Post 349. Knights of Columbus Past Grand Knight 4th Degree Member Corpus Christi Council 2502. Board Member of Mineola Zoning Board and Town of North Hempstead Veterans Advisory Board. Visitation will be held Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Thursday 9:30AM Corpus Christi Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Memorials to Corpus Christi Church Mineola, NY and Calvary Lutheran Church East Meadow, NY appreciated.
