Staff members of Cassidy Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

William J. Cassidy Owner & Operator, 5th Generation

A graduate of Nassau Community College Business Program 2006, and Mortuary Science Program 2008. William is a Licensed Funeral Director as of 2009. He is a 5th generation Funeral Director for our family. Served in the military as an Army Ranger from 2001 to 2004, he had two deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Afghanistan.  William is also a member of the American Legion Post #144 in Williston Park.  He is a registerd volunteer with, The Gallant Few, a Revolutionary Veteran Support Network, and is available in counciling, motivating and coaching returning war veterans. He is a proud memeber of the Ed Smith Mineola Lions Club as well.

Susan Cassidy Owner & Operator, Licensed Funeral Director

Graduate of the Mortuary Science Program at Nassau Community College in 2008. Susan is a Licensed Funeral Director as of 2009. She is the Chairperson of the Programs/Education committee for the Nassau Suffolk Funeral Directors Association. Susan and William J. Cassidy married March 14, 2010 after having met in the Mortuary Science Program at Nassau Community. Susan is mother to future funeral directors, Emma and William Rocco Cassidy, their children.
